Our social development contribution

At B2 Architects, we believe in making a difference where it counts. Right now, our social development efforts are focused on supporting the Buskaid Soweto String Academy, an incredible initiative that gives underprivileged children in Soweto the chance to master classical string instruments to international standards.

Buskaid doesn’t just teach music; it transforms lives. It trains future educators, creates jobs, and inspires hope within a community that faces immense challenges. We’re proud to be part of this journey and to contribute to their growing success.

Currently, we’re assisting Buskaid in planning a purpose-built music school on a larger site, which will help them accommodate the increasing number of students eager to learn. While finding the right site in Soweto has its challenges, we’re optimistic and dedicated to seeing this vision come to life.

Music schools are such vibrant, inspiring spaces, and we’re focused on designing one that meets Buskaid’s unique needs. From thoughtful space planning to creating exceptional acoustics, every detail will be crafted to enhance both individual practice and group performances.
